Restorative Yoga Practice with Annie Neat

I hold a 2-hour practice, once a month and it’s such a gorgeous practice!

Poses are fully supported with bolsters, blankets and blocks and held for a long time, with nowhere to rush to. I'll guide you through some breathwork too and offer hands-on support along the way, adjusting props, helping you settle deeper into each shape. No flow, no effort. Just your body, properly supported, allowed to stop.

Who it's for
Anyone. You don't need yoga experience, flexibility or to have practised with me before.

Why it's magical
Because most of us never actually stop. Not nap-on-the-sofa stop but the kind of stop where your nervous system finally gets to settle.

That takes time. Held long enough, a pose becomes something else entirely. Your breathing slows, your mind runs out of things to say and tension that's been sitting in your body for months finally has room to release. The breathwork helps guide you there and having someone gently supporting you through it means you don't have to hold anything, physically or otherwise.

People leave these sessions differently than they arrive. Sleeping better. Less wound up. Sometimes a bit emotional, in a good way. Always surprised by how much they needed to just stop.

I've been running this every month for years and it's still the class I look forward to teaching most.
